The three-daqy Agri-Bazaar cum Agri-Kapihan that is held monthly will be held on Feb. 17 to 19 at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
Friends of AANI will be making available to the buying public their fresh farm produce, processed products, plants like planting materials of fruit trees, vegetables and other high-value crops. Sarian Farm will be making available its exotic fruit trees like Longkong lanzones, Barbados cherry, sweet kamias, imported makopa, seedless mabolo, grafted cashew and many others.
Lectures and demonstrations will be held during the three-day event. On Feb. 17, Jojo Revilla will talk on natural health and wellness, quail raising by Jeffrey de la Cruz, rabbit production by Art Veneracion, and Agriboost organic fertilizer by Lito Abuag.
On Feb. 18, Jorge Disuanco will talk on Arabica Coffee farming, Lulu Rivera on meat processing, Val Puente and Pat Puente Suanino on the health benefits of Spirulina, and Ramil Rubia on best farming practices.
On Sunday, Feb. 18, Tony Rola will lecture on mango production, Danny Ricohermoso on seaweed culture and Raffy Barroso on consumer-based organic certification.
The Agri-Bazaar cum Agri-Kapihan is op-en free to the public.
