A Korean-made loader that is assembled in the Philippines by the Central Isabela Agri Manufacturing Corporation (CIAMC) can perform more functions on the farm than you think.
The loader can be attached to a 35-hp tractor. Aside from loading farm produce like sacks of palay to a truck, it can also be used in leveling the field, according to Eugene Gabriel, CIAMC president. In addition, it can be used in making farm road network, shallow water impounding facilities and others.
Gabriel said that a grabber can be attached so it can pick up heavy loads for loading to a truck. A forklift can also be attached to it so that it can function as such.
The loader attached to a 35-HP Kubota tractor will be demonstrated soon before farmers, agri entrepreneurs, students and professors at the Isabela State University in Echague.
