COUPLE SELLS THEIR PROPERTIES IN AUSTRALIA: Back To PH To Do Their Own Farming

Mila B. Harvie and her brother Lito Bagacina came all the way from Cavite to buy planting materials of exotic fruit trees at the Sarian Farm in Teresa, Rizal on June 12, 2019.

Mila and her Australian husband Jeff are going to stay for good in the Philippines. They have bought a 4-hectare property in Alfonso, Cavite which they are going to plant to various exotic fruit trees. Among her choices is the R2E2 or Peach mango that was bred in Australia by a Filipino plant breeder who graduated from UP Los BaƱos. It is very similar to the Kensington Pride or Bowen which is considered the best mango variety from Australia.

Mila and her brother fully loaded their vehicle with several varieties that included durian, pomelos, Abiu, sweet kamias, seedless mabolo, sweet coconut from Thailand, marang, imported guava varieties, atimoya, jackfruit, rambutan,  Mama Sita banana and several more.

Mila who is a native of Silang, Cavite, says she and her husband love the mild climate of Alfonso, Cavite.
