There are many fruit trees that you can grow in containers. Even big trees that grow tall can be planted in containers and they will bear fruit. Just like a couple of purple caimito trees at the Sarian Farm in Teresa, Rizal. They were planted in rubberized containers about five years ago. Now they are in their second year of fruiting.
The rubberized containers are quite big. They were filled with top soil with lots of Durabloom organic fertilizer and rice hull, ordinary rice hull, not carbonized.
Other fruit trees that can be grown in containers that will bear fruit include different mango varieties, makopa, Abiu, Kamias, chico, pummelo, mabolo, atis, bignay and many others..
