We got a pleasant surprise this morning (Sept. 24, 2014) when we went around our farm. We visited the patch of Japanese Saluyot and found that some have grown as tall as eight feet. Some pods have already formed and we are anticipating their ripening so we could have some seeds for additional planting.
So many other Saluyot enthusiasts are looking forward to the availability of seeds. Photo shows this blogger, Zac B. Sarian, posing with the tall Saluyot plants. We have not seen any variety as tall as this. And the leaves are much bigger than those of the ordinary variety.
